Nursing Home Administrator
The Living Center at The Highlands, a CARF-CCAC accredited, non-profit skilled nursing facility, a part of The Highlands at Pittsford and affiliate of the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) is seeking a well qualified Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA). This position reports directly to the President of Long Term Care & CEO of Strong Memorial Hospital/Highland Hospital.
The Administrator is responsible for the operations of a 122-bed skilled nursing facility and 20 slot adult day program. Additionally, the Administrator represents The Living Center at the Long Term Care Board meetings, and works within the senior leadership team of URMC and its affiliates in a collaborative manner to assist in ensuring system wide synergies and progressive geriatric patient care programs.
- Demonstrated ability in financial management, team development, strategic planning and day to day operations of a skilled nursing facility with a focus on quality care delivery and person and family centered care.
- Proven leadership that demonstrates effectiveness in plan execution across the care continuum. Strong leadership skills with an ability to encourage and embrace change that will improve the organization’s overall effectiveness are required. Must possess the ability to promote and maintain an environment responsive to all residents, their families and staff.
- The successful candidate must possess a valid New York State Nursing Home Administrator’s license (or qualify for reciprocity in NYS) and three (3) years of healthcare management experience.
