Professional Development Manager
Part- Time Day Shift The Professional Development Manager oversees and promotes education and training to the optimal level of performance for clinical and ancillary staff. This includes, but is not limited to work in the following areas:
- Clinical education and training (e.g. CPR, Infection Control, orientation of new nursing staff.)
- Resident Infection Prevention (includes reporting to DOH, NHSN, and CDC.) Collaborates and supports the Dir. of Nursing in the submission of these reports.
- Clinical Regulatory Compliance (currency with CMS, CDC and other regulatory bodies) as directed by the Dir. of Nursing.
- Works with directors to create, track and assist in the education and training for competencies (mandatory and dept. specific.) BSN and currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in New York; Masters and/or Clinical Nurse Specialist preferred. Experience in education and training; minimum 3 years clinical experience. Will consider additional relevant certifications i.e. Education, Quality, Infection Control, Forensic Nursing, and WOCN.
